An ICS Success Story

Challenge:

In 2007, ICS performed Continuity of Operations & Continuity of Government Planning for the Florida Department of State, Division of Elections to ensure that agency operations could be conducted efficiently in the face of a disaster.

Objectives:

  • Identify mission critical functions
  • Develop standard operating procedures
  • Identify inter-agency operability requirements
  • Establish chain of support for county supervisors of elections

Solutions Provided:

Result:

The ICS team of Business Continuity Planning Specialists worked with agency personnel to gather data requirements, identify needs, prioritize workflows,and develop comprehensive COOP and COG plans.
